CODE DUCK is a top down 2.5D game that follows a mallard wanting to clean up and fix the mess it's made at the city park!
This was a collaborative project, created from a team of 5 in two weeks, with me as the creative director and visual development lead.

The first iterations were done on A post it note drawn by Rae Bruckner, and the second being a feature pass done by me on detail and formatting.

Gameplay and feature placement

Starting the visual development with a simple 3D Paint over to establish how gameplay may look,
along with a small variation of mallard ideations to find the shape and attitude we were looking for in our main character

After team members 3D modeled, textured, and set dressed the level and items, I processed them and made them into stylized sprites.
These sprites go alongside my hand drawn 2D-animated sprites that belong to our mallard character.
